Sharing Expertise and Knowledge
Here at the BKA International School we rely on many resources to give your children the best possible education.
Our parents and community members are a valuable resource in engaging and enhancing children’s learning. First-hand input from a member of our parent community provides a great opportunity for our children to gain insight into a specific field. Therefore, we encourage any parents with a special talent or extensive knowledge in any field to contact us. Class teachers contact families at the start of each unit of inquiry to communicate which hobbies and skills would be of particular interest to the children and invite members of the community to come and share in the learning taking place.
Joining the Fun
At the BKA International School we are proud of our learning community and include community members in the following events:
- Summer picnic
- Lantern Walk (a Basel tradition)
- Winter Celebration
These traditions provide a perfect opportunity to meet other families, make friends and share some quality time with your children.
